Rainy Sunday!

We were going to get up early today for the local markets held at the show grounds, but it was pouring with rain, and we decided that it might be cancelled, or even if it was on, we would get drenched, so we didn’t bother! Had a bit of a lie in which was nice as I was feeling pretty crappy. Didn’t sleep as well as I normally do due to my cold, and I also woke up with a horrible cough!
Got up and lazed around for a bit, and then we decided to go Bowling! We had seen a bowling place when we first arrived, and decided to check it out! It was busy with lots of families and was typically noisy and crazy! Luckily they had a spare lane for us, so off we went. We put on our sexy shoes and began! Ben was whining about how bad he is at bowling, he is not a good loser! It turned out that although I haven’t done it for ages, I was quite good! Almost every time it went straight down the middle, but didn’t manage to knock them all down as I don’t have enough power, and if I used a heavier ball it didn’t go so well! I won the first game and was very happy! We had paid for two games, so began the next one, which I was winning again for the first two bowls, however, the tables quickly turned! Ben was getting into his stride and I was losing mine! I seemed to get worse as he got better! Needless to say, he won that one! I was gutted, I thought this might be one thing I could beat Ben at, but no, he won overall when we combined both scores! Oh well, I’m used to it now! It was good fun, and I think we will do it again if it rains!
We had lunch at the mall, there are so many food places in the food court! Ben has his favourite, Big Mac, and I had one of my favourites, Fish and Chips!!! Not nearly as good as home, but was yummy nevertheless! We had a very lazy and lovely afternoon escaping the rain inside lounging around, I read my book and drank tea for hours while Ben wrote the blog and wrote a few emails, it was lovely and chilled! In fact the rest of the day was very lazy! We both managed to skype with our families, and I also chatted on fb chat with my sister and friend from work, so lots and lots of catching up which I always love! The perfect end to the day was watching P.S. I love you, which happened to be on TV! Lush!
